High flux heat exchange pipe


Heat exchanger, transfer heat from the hot fluid to the cold fluid, is widely used in industrial field. In power plants, heat exchanger investment accounted for about 70% of the total. In the refinery, heat exchanger is about 20% by weight of the total weight. A small size,   low metal consumption, low power consumption, low operate temperature and high heat transfer efficiency are very important to heat exchanger.

It is known:

Q=k·F·ΔT

kheat transfer coefficient [W/(m2·K)], FHeat transfer area [m2], ΔTMean temperature difference [K]. To increase heat transfer, a bigger K, F or ΔT is necessary.  

 

High flux pipe is specifically designed to enhance heat transfer coefficient. A thin, porous metal layer is bonded metallurgically to the heat transfer surface. This pore make liquid produce a large number of bubbles at low superheat, which enhance heat transfer. At the same time, porous structure formed many boiling centre, the film boiling changes  to nucleate boiling. So boiling side heat transfer coefficients of 10-30 times that of bare tubes can be achieved, resulting in an overall heat transfer improvement of 2-4 times that of bare pipes.

  • Ethylene Glycol Unit Evaporation Tower

  • Seawater Desalination etc.
